I thought if I pulled hard enough, candy would pop out.
Can’t form coherent thought. Saw The Avengers. Both love and hate Joss Whedon (as it is, as it always shall be).
But I don’t want to talk about that right now. I want to just… savor it, for a while. Take in what it was, what I expected it to be, what it could have or should have been. I’m not disappointed. Not in the least. But I don’t want to judge it yet. I just… I want to enjoy having gotten to see it. This big superhero movie about all these characters I grew up with. A film I kinda’ never thought would ever happen, but always wanted.
I probably need to see it a few more times (and maybe I will). Possibly the lead-in movies too. Yeah… that would be a nice day. The Iron Mans, Thor, the second Hulk (only the second), Cap, and then The Avengers.
Wow. To think that it’s even possible to have a day like that… Really, Wow.
