Levi's Blong!

okay, so another update post. This one is my rendition/version or a logo Jamie Cosley created for the people working on his and his son’s delightful BlueScar comic book. They’ve been kind enough to let me play around with their characters and world. I’ve drawn a four page story for them already, and I’m working on an introduction of a character of my own design that I feel will add some super fun to their universe. It’s a lot of fun for anyone who loves the old Filmation cartoons, and He-Man in general. I know there’s a new show starting soon, and I’ll try and check it out. Hopefully it’s cool.

Here’s Jamie’s original version. I kind of envisioned anyone who was part of the “Ink Pen Concert” would have their own version of the logo, with out own band members. Silly, I know, but that’s how my brain works. (Also somehow my white background skews green. Need to address that…) More on BlueScar later…

My drawing, the one with the frog, I consider a “key” piece in my art journey. It was the first thing I’d drawn in months with any gusto, and things have only increasingly made me excited since. I’m really happy creating with a little bit of “intent”.
