Levi's Blong!

I felt this one really needed that Prismacolor shading in the background to separate the image a bit. Looking at it now, I’m wondering if maybe I should have used cross-hatching to do it, but for better or worse, it’s too late now. That’s sometimes why I’m nervous NOT doing things like that digitally. I used to be pretty okay with the markers and colored pencils, and now I feel my skills have… slid. As usual, I’m sure I’m overthinking. It’s kind of what I do.

The stairs (hey, it ties to the prompt for once! yay!) of course are inspired by the amazing Dr. Seuss. His work is a constant source of inspiration. (I wonder if anyone would be interested in a “Top Ten” list or something similar from me regarding my favorite creators? No? okay. hahaa)

That Snowman in the doodle was about 18 different things before I put him there… What’s HIS deal? 🙂
