Since I grew up watching cartoons (mostly) on a small black & white TV, it should be no wonder that I missed the little green bugger coasting along with the rest of the blue invaders into Gargamel’s trailer house. Although the height variance might’ve been a giveaway.
Also, “Früm” as a war cry is scary enough. Adding to it that the seem to have rolled the old wizard for his cash at the same time as rescuing their clanswoman just takes the innocence away, and I now see them as more of a tribe of warriors. Or maybe closer to the Zuni doll in that Trilogy Of Terror movie (not for the weak of heart!).
Creepy.
