There are certain mantras I live my life by.  Little concepts and rules that I’ve designed to keep myself chugging along and at my… well, not best so much as…  Well, chugging along will suffice.

Up near the top, probably right under Never Stare Directly Into the McNugget, is this:

Don’t Eat the Fruit.

Now, there’s reasoning behind this.  It’s a long, drawn-out story that ends in pain a suffering, but, ultimately, survival.  I will not tell that story here.

But I’m more than happy to give our little green angst-balloon his own reasoning for following the same edict.
